-Now then, the Pribax Comedy World Radio Network has at the moment been froze out by WXUT, and it looks like June 2
we may be an endangered species..OR WILL WE??.. as we go to press, a friend of mine is ..to borrow a phrase from FOX2 "Working for us" to get a gentleman who runs an internet radio network to give us a shot, also there is a new Internet radio network starting up
that is searching right now for 'IJs" for a 10 station network ..details of which can be found at this website: http:// www.RVILLE.com
plus Im still working on a tape for WKRK but as they say,without SOME assistance all i got is what I can work with.. so right now the best I have is the following:

-Well,looks like Doug will be burning his COLDPLAY C.D.s as COLDPLAY has just done a video for UPNs "WWE SMACKDOWN"
which just preemed tonight.

-Looks like King George II was wrong saying that Saddam was gone, and that the conflict was over, the conflict , Saddam is still alive
and just struck back big time. he is reforming his organization and has struck all week ..NOW then King George II, time to rethink!
Seems to me you had said that the war was over..well????

-Mike Tyson has done it again, he opened his mouth and REALLY inserted his tootsies, On the FOX NEWS show "On the record" he now says he WANTS to rape!, Ladies and gentlemen..I give you the arsehole of the week

-As for this FCC announcement, all the protests wont mean diddly since its already a fate du acompli,3-2 vote to bless the 45% ownership cap and cross-ownership rule. My opinion is this, the big three main munchkins(Infinity,Clear Channel,and News corp)
are the ones who have wanted to raise the limit,now they got it. BUT now with the gates open, what next ?
You have Newspaper owners like Gannett,The Blade,Tribune,etc all now itching to get tehri hands on some prime properties,
One has to ask this ..whats left to grab??
Here in Jackson-Lansing for example there is ABC53 WLAJ, owned at present by FREEDOM Communications, now WLAJ has a tiny staff and is so bare bones that they have only a total of 50 minutes a week of news (A 10 minute newscast mon-fri 6pm only) now granted WLAJ is a small station, but they actually need a big owner to help them get re-established in the news biz, Gannett and or Tribune could save them.
Meanwhile the radio side is but a big mess, after all with Clear Channel and its 1240 stations (all mainly centralized with voice tracking)
they gots to be licking their lips about what is inevidable..whats next ??? who knows Clear Channel and Infinity could become more powerful than ever ...but on the good side, PAX could be out of business.. Stay Tuned

-Remember when I said some nice stuff about my bud Doug..well today he went balistic on my cell phone,
with some very shall we say..he didnt think before he spoke.. that well got me rather pissed off and angry at him.
So this got me to thinking how the hell this whole shit got started, simple With a call from doug wanting to talk
and ask for my help..I told him and told him DONT ASK ME !!
BUT, he wouldnt listen! and thus his faux pas! so today he made a VERY big mistake...he DEMANDED I stop talking and removing
some posts.
and in essence said for me to butt out,and the one thing that really got under my skin, "Dont help me unless I TELL YOU" well first off
Doug, you made some GRAVE errors that I will address now so that you dont make the same errors again

1-Dont EVER boss me around, you dont DEMAND or ORDER ANYTHING of me!
you make request in a calm,friendly, and respectful tone and I will oblidge, I take orders from one person..my mother,not you.

2-You were told many times not to ask for my advice, LISTEN for once!

From now on doug, any problems you have at home or elsewhere,either tell them to a therapist or leave them at home, dont ask me anymore! your little text rant was proof of why I dont wish to be asked my opinion or advice. Keep me the hell out of it!

Now as for the rest of my circle of friends,If you wish my advice, i'm glad to help out as best as I can, but pay heed to this warning
"I will suggest, advise,council, but I will not and can not solve the situation, for that go to a professional." as for Doug, well,my door of advice and council is closed to him.

Now let me get something off my chest, Recently Doug went to a anti-war Protest march, and had requested I join him, this was on a saturday that I went to lansing, I told him that I couldnt attend due to me going to Lansing.
Well the truth is, I went to a live TV Taping for "AWWL BIG TIME WRESTLING" at the studios of WLAJ in Lansing, 10:30am to 4pm,
my mother went shopping at wal-mart during the taping.
Now while I dont agree with what King Geogre II has done , or his policies, I could not and WILL NOT go against MY heritage or My upbringing and besmerch the name of Baxley or Guminski.
I am and forever will be the son of Army Parents, And proud of my Uncles,aunts,cousins who serve proudly in the armed forces.
And I will not sully their names. THATS the real reason I could not and will never join in a protest march.
I may not agree with King George II, but when It comes to my family, there is no more a strong loyalty than blood! and my family is VERY important to me !! I will support them always, even at the risk of friendship.

THE CROSSROADS

As I turned 39, I see myself hitting the crossroads
the unknown as some would call it

Just what is this crossroads
is it gods way of testing me for whats beyond
or what?

I've turned 39
and right now I seek a "gas station" to tell me which direction to go
but no "gas station" has been found

I wonder as I walk the path just what lies beyond
I wonder if I'll ever know just what is next
and if i'll really be alone.

I regret Ive left no markers for my accomplishments are few
I wonder if i'll be remembered
for just me being here for you

I seek the wisdom of the world, and yet have not once sipped from the well of knowldge
I try to figure out my life,if only to be discouraged

I seek support from my friends
and tho I thank tham all

I find that I'm alone in my quest
and I hate loneliness most of all

My heart tho whole has a part thats gone,
for that I fear never to be found

For as I enter the crossroads of my life,
I enter it alone

These tears I shed are for my loss,
of family I cherish much,
For the crossroads I have entered
are filled with memories of my heart

Of friends and family I have lossed
of things so precious in life

As I enter the crossroads of my journey
to a vast unknown,

What vision do I see
what memories will I have
I cant talk to my mother about things
that I could talk about with my dad

My life to date has been well documented,
My life has been well known,
But I dont wish to continue this journey
for I am all alone

The crossroads have me question my presence on this earth,
the life I led I re examine
for my world has changed too much

The crossroads I have come to
may have cost me a true love
maybe this IS a test of my loyalty

The crossroads I have come upon have no sign of directoion,
the only thing that I can see...

Is the hand of fate
who knows where it will take me

Of if I can ever trust it again

-Hmmm I wonder if this is the infamous apocaylspe I kept hearing about, First The Red Wings get trounced in round one by the mighty ducks of dinsey, then the lakers get zapped by San Antonio in the second round of the NBA playoffs,the Detroit Tigers finally show some balls..and my buddy's blog is shitcanned..the apocalyspe is now here

-So we are winning the war on terrorism???, then explain what happened in Saudi Arabia..

-4 days and counting till I turn 39, will it be remembered??? maybe, I do enjoy the birthday wishes from my buds at TheBasement.com.au, in fact last night one of my odes became a song, I am so proud!

-The radio show continues to fight for life, we are trying ..some say without success to win a spot at WSPD or WCWA

MINDFART 2003

-In six days I will be 39....YIPPPP-EEEE.

Now I know for some, you are shocked at what I just said, well see it from where I stand,
I'm feeling a bit blue, because every year on my birthday when I was a kid, I would be going with my dad to
a Tigers Baseball game, or seeing a movie, then going to Bill Knapps and getting my free birthday cake.

Today I stare out the window and wonder, what next?
granted I do have somethings to be happy about

I have a long time friend named Doug
I have a beautiful lady friend named Pita,who I cant wait to meet,who has stolen my heart, and who I care a lot about.
I have my health
I have a dog who drives my nuts
and I have some buddies who care a lot about me
And then theres my mother..

Birthdays mean a lot to me, but I dont know lately with my uncle passing away and my mom having knee replacement surgery I just would like something good to happen, I would like Pita or someone to just call me and sing Happy Birthday, talk a bit something special...

In june Im supposed to go see my aunt and friends in Florida, and then Meet Pita...I hope I dont fuck this up , I do care a lot about her, and she has brightened up my life in ways that I just cant explain..

Or maybe I need to get out of Jackson for a day, go Windsor or Detroit, someplace away from all this boredom for a day....

19 years ago the comedy magic created the partnership of joy known as Pribax, Yours Truly and Doug Pribe got together and the comedy has flowed, and so has their effect on certain cities across the country.
now they accept the challenge of radio and have succeeded beyond all dreams...heres to another decade of joy .


God I am so in love with Pita, I continue to count to the meeting in June,she is a light of sunshine on a gloomy day, and a beauty
who has a golden heart

Aerosmith is doing some blues songs, cool, maybe I'll be able to get a ticket for their big concert with KISS and see them play some ..

I fell off the wagon weight wise, gained 30 pounds,but it was because I am worried about my mom, she is doing ok..she was cleared of cancer and as pita said "She will outlive us" and i am hoping so.

Well its mothers day, and I gave my mom a special gift, I took her out to lunch.
But I know today is a very difficult one for my buddy Doug, and I do hope he doesnt to waht I did when my dad died, and thats
to hold it in till you get so sick you dont know what to do.

I understand how my buddy feels, its not easy..but with friends surrounding you, it gets easy.


And that ladies and gents, is teh rant, not much but fear not, next week could be something to see
