Back From the computer dead
For two shows we had a couple of great guests from a rock tour that stopped by Jackson, Sicktanick and kaos stopped by as did the local promoter Mike Sparks to promote the hell out of the "CHILDREN OF THE GRAVE TOUR" great stuff.
This is what happens when you put out the word about a radio show thats original,follows no format, and isnt a carbon copy of some other radio show ! and the Last Call Cafe is the type of show I want to do , interviews , music, sports, and fun calls. best of all NO POLITICS!
I wanted to do that in Toldeo, nope! had to be a ripoff of two radio shows..I hated it!
But for every caller we have on friday, for every guest we have on friday, I am happy and damn proud to have a show I can call my own for 7 years , and along with two great friends to join in, its a show that deserves the mega props its gotten..
This fridays show we will have SickTanick & friend talk about the tour , plus the usual stuff including "THE AFTERGLOOOOOW"
Sad to hear that after 40 plus years WWOR cancelled its 10pm news, also sad to note that it could cost the station its license as it no longer covers NJ. its replacement is done in trenton, but a production of FOX TVs Philly Station. we'll see how long THIS lasts, already 2 NJ senators are calling for the FCC to revoke WWORs license.
A closing/opening date has been announced as Current TV says good bye and AL JAZERRA AMERICA says hello on August 24th.
It's beginning to look like MSNBC has become OFFICIALLY redundant, as it has lost what little viewers they had to FOX NEWS,and still cant seem to figure out that viewers want fair and balanced news and no more unbiased one sided opinion shows. maybe the new NBC NEWS president can right the ship , or just end the agony and shut it down !
