Its like recieving the ultimate happy ending, without paying the massuse $50 an hour

BALLOON JUBILEE:

So Jackson Hailed the return of the HOT AIR JUBLIEE, now streamlined due to the harsh economy hitting our little burb...so what the hell happend??
not a hell of a lot.
Once again mother nature caused the brunt of the events to be POOOOOPED ON! and it showed in the bottom line, as some estimate the total take would be below projected $75,000 , some people think that maybe its time to revert to what it was the first few years, or change the dates to even working with Michigan International Speedway, anything to help improve things more.

The Ticket prices were not good , $10 adults ..$5 for kids, parking $8 for a grand tote of $38-$45 dollars, now especially in this tight economy with jobs being lost ..maybe the organizers couldve lowered the price to ONE PRICE, that way there woudl be more people attending and not just mulling around at KMART parking lot to see some good balloons

But also the "NIGHT GLOW" was a big disappointment, not many balloons went for the glow, and those that did, didnt last long for anyone to get pics, while the dog fight (old time ariplanes) was good, the night glow just stunk!

Next year should be better, then again this IS Jackson we are talking about, and just like the employment situation here..the ballon festival was just flat!

GOING WAY BEYOND STUPID!

Someone,or should that be some complete boob, some low rent Joe Francis decided to encroach upon sacred territory, and by territory I mean THEY CROSSED HOLY GROUND as far as I am concerned.

Erin Andrews is the Sideline Reporter for ESPN THE WORLDWIDE MEGALEADING NAME IN SPORTS and she is very approachable, friendly and accessable to her fans, but that may have all changed, and we have some perverted jackarse to thank for that.

Seems some low rent jacker decided to violate Ms Andrews' privacy by drilling a few peep holes in her hotel room and taking vids of her in her birthday suit, Andrews was shaken to say the least at this sick pervo's act and got some big time lawyers as well as ESPNs hound dogs to suit up to find this scumbag and delete both the offending tape and the scumbucket from the face of the earth.

Andrews has become since her hiring a youtube star an she has accepted that she has a following that would make a mom proud, but sadly some jackers have possibly ruined it now for all of us , while Erin and ESPN lawyer up and hunt for the scuzzball low rent Joe Francis, one has to wonder if Erin and ESPN will resort to security guards preventing some good fans from saying hello to Erin thus making her unapproachable to a solidly good fan base.

It breaks the heart of true understanding fans to see something like this happen where some vile peice of scuzz is out to not only make a name for themselves (and I think the best name for them is one that rhymes with "masterd") but to do so and distroy a young womans career and embarass her and hurt her..

Erin Andrews is someone unique to the world of Sports Televison, and to violate her privacy just to make a name for yourself is not only not right, but so not cool.

I hope Erin and ESPN sue this vile suzzball for everything he has,and let this be a harsh lesson for scum like the "Hotel Room Voyuer" dont mess with someone or something that is sacred to all .

and if you dont agree, you are as worse ..as Keith olbermann's Rubber Duckie

BAXALOGUE
Its the creamy filling in the twinkee of life
By Steve Baxley

Last night we lost a legend,a storyteller,a man who redefined Television News..we lost our uncle.

Walter Cronkite passed away at the age of 92 of ill heath, but his legacy will be that of a man who not only reported the news, but made it personal and personable to the viewers.

Writer,Editor,Journalist,Anchor, Walter Cronkite was all this and much more, he was the first even Managing editor of the newscast that bore his name, and was among "murrow's men" the forefathers of CBS NEWS, and Television News in general. His honest, unbiased way of reporting the news came to fruition that November 22nd afternoon in 1963 when JFK was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald in Dallas,Texas..and then to be cemented in commentary on the Vietnam War in which Lyndon Banes Johnson was quoted as saying "If I lose Walter Cronkite...I've Lost Middle America"

When it came to politics, he covered them with an unflinching eye, always giving the viewer that front row seat to the political season, interviewing Presidents and foreign leaders, he best duty was when anchoring coverage of Appolo missions incuding that famed Appolo 11 mission to the moon, his joy and speechless awe spoke volumes of all of us who watched with that same awe and excitement.

He also took young viewers on a journey through history as if it was covered by CBS NEWS on a show called "YOU ARE THERE", where historic events came to life as if CBS NEWS reporters were there covering them .first on Radio and then on TV.

What Walter Cronkite was, was what Television news was, unflinching, unafraid, unbiased, not bought off or compromised as it is today. Television News of today needs to look at its past to see how it was done ..The Olbermann's, Maddows, Schultz's of today need to learn of being Fair and Balanced, not to be arrogant and self-serving ,not to report one side of the story, but ALL sides of the story without bias.

Cronkite was a true journalist, and there will never be another like him in this world, they come only once, but their memory lasts a long time.

To the future news anchors and reporters, take lesson and heed from the teachings of Walter Cronkite, dont let politics or corporate hounds influence what you deliver to the viewers, for you are the next generation upholdant to a trust to accuracy, integrity, and unbias, to be fair and accurate.

And thats the way it is,good night and good luck

Now with that fresh scent of Rabbit

Micheal Jackson passed on the same day as Farrah Fawcett, yet the media has made the self professed "king of pop" bigger than the death of Pope John Paul II,the assassination of JFK or even the loss of Farrah herself.

As we enter the 300th hour of MICHEAL MANIA, the media grows like locusts as does the crowd, even LAPD is saying "DONT BOTHER COMING TO THE CON..uh MEMORIAL IF YOU HAVENT GOT A WRISTBAND AND TICKET" yep LA is shutting down for what is a glorified concert, and frankly that is sad, that while people villify a man with many problems and skeletons in his closet..(even Keith Olbermann's spine is there from what im told.) A real person passed and never got HER memorial service beamed to the world.

Farrah Fawcett deserved a better tribute than a small box on the cover of PEOPLE magazine, a mere "oh by the way" mention .

The coverage of Micheal's passing has been so overblown, its gotten even harden news viewers burned out and crying "enough already"! the last time someone got so much blanket coverage ...when Princess Diana died in a car crash, chased by overanxious paps looking for that big story.

And get this, the folks who had the scoop on MJ's passing ..wasnt a major TV News organization, not even a cable news outlet...it was a website TMZ.com again proved that they ARE more better than the national media when covering big stories.

Even Rev. Al Sharpton, the media hog that he is has "requested" that the United States Postal Service issue a comemorative stamp of M.J. ALONG with a national day of mourning, please someone hand me the Michael Jackson memorial gold barf bag!

But enough is enough, in fact the only thing missing from the procession, the horse drawn carriage with his coffin draped with the american flag.

Enough is Enough, Im burned out for all this and wont be among the flock who will be watching the concert..uh memorial, I rather remember those who never got their due props, like my dad and others who fought in both Korea and Nam, or those who fought in Iraq, and other wars we fought in.

Where are their concerts?
