SUNDAY SUPPLEMENT

->Friday I spent litterally all day at our local hospitals and here are some observations on the whole day


->We began at Foote Hospital at 9am, observation 1, are all hospitals stuck on Regis and Kelly, my lack of sanity, it was REGIS on ALL the TVs, it was a nightmare, glad I had my toonage with me or I wouldve gone nuts.

->Hospital food, like Job Corps food..SUCKS MAJOR! the Catfish was so bland its a wonder that I lived..I mean I now know WHY hospital food sucks..it helps you get better FAST!!

->Went to Ann Arbor, not a bad place, did some shopping at WHOLE FOODS the ultimate healthy food store, real cool

->Then came Saturday and a trek to Kelloggs Arena for some family meeting ..what can I say but ho and hum, again glad I had my cell phone

->Today was the Family Reunion,now last year it was fun, this year it was rather subdued and very uneventful,took Misty the chihuahua with me, and my cellphone.

->Glad my I guess we can say now former radio partner Doug Pribe is still talking to me, but I fear things are not all kippers and scones at his place of work..wont say much except to add..Be VERY careful and watch your back pal, that bullseye is really on you.

->Heres what I dont get, FOX MOVIE CHANNEL gets protests from Asian Americans about The Charlie Chan Film Festival
that FOX MOVIE CHANNEL pulls it saying that "To air them would not be Politically Correct", Yet FOX ..the network airs a degrading show called "BANZAI" and Asian-Americans dont say one damn word.

Charlie Chan was a detective played with great respect by three super actors,and yet THEY are deemed politically Incorrect?? Im sorry but I grew up on Charlie Chan and found the movies very well thought up and written with respect.


->Speaking of FOX, you think the programming geniui at FOX are kicking themselves about cancelling BOTH family guy
AND Futurama?? both shows are kicking arse on both Cartoon Network AND TBS Superstation! Makes one think about
maybe possibly NEW EPS????


->And are you ready for the new cable network SPIKEtv????, well if you are then get ready to see the special party for
SPIKEtv that was supposed to air in June, but thanks to Shelton Jackson Lee it was shown with some digital blacking

THURSDAY PONDERINGS

->A new Strip Club opened here,called "the School house", and protesters plan to take phots of anyone who goes near
the place..all i have to say is, I'll take 2 eight by tens and 3 wallet sized..

->Just think, the indy cars are here..YIPPPPEEEE!!

->Congrats to our buddy Shaggy on his deal with WIOT 104 FM, wish I could say the same for "Pribax Radio", I have a feeling Maybe its time to go for one last dash, then decide on the next path ..

->I feel like this trek to Florida will be the key and the answer to my problems

Well here we go..another fun filled fiesta to start the week right.

->Today was a day for memories, as Celia Cruz was remembered at St. Patricks Cathedral in NYC., teh public came in droves, as also some very faous folks to pay their respects to this entertainer.
Tonight, heaven is dancing a different dance as Tito and Celia perform in heavens paladium!

->Wow, what a weekend I had..Started at WLAJ Studios for the final AWWL TV Taping as they take a summer break and return in September, got to see some very excellent wrestling FOR FREE!! taping started at 11am and ended at 4:30 full freaking house as always for these tapings, The AWWL was just full of surprizes including KEVIN SULLIVAN and his XWA wrestling group invaded the AWWL...and shocked the world!
Sunday I went to the Jackson match super time and I enjoyed all of it, got plenty of autographs on my COMEDY WORLD shirt.

->Well, my cousin Darrell is in hospital, I hope he will be ok..

->meanwhile, death goes on ..more US casualties in the "War that is over" but the big news, we took out the snake and the rat , but now ...lets get rid of the jackal! then lets remember we have unfinished biz in Afghanistan,and possibly help in liberia..if THATS not enough, there IS still North Korea. 2004 is going to be fun!

->The sunday free press/news had an article of people who are dissatisfied with America now going for a better life ..IN CANADA!!!...must be something to find out about, AND I WILL!!!

Yep, last saturday was the big anniversary of DD
the day that Disco Died at the hands of Chicago jock Steve Dahl! Who could ever forget that day it was hot and humid,
and Chicago White Sox were playing a double tuna against the Detroit Tigers,when during the intermission Steve Dahl and Garry Meier Blew up a load of Disco Record and all hell broke loose, ChiSox forfietted the second game as fans made a mess of things.


AUGUST DOINGS

These events have been cancelled due to My Mothers Knee Surgery:

any trips to Canada

These events have NOT been cancelled and are still scheduled

This weekend I plan on enjoying,first my weekly visit to WLAJ for the Big Time Wrestling taping, then sunday attending the big wrestling show in jackson.

this is the big time for Jackson, What with the annual Hot Air Jubilee, the Indy racing league,jackson county fair, and family reunion.

Fun..Fun..Fun..well at least Florida will be memorable!

->Its the all-star break for Major League Baseball,and lets face it..the Detroit Tigers are glad!!.
at least one thing is certain, the 1916 Phils will STILL have the WORST win-lost record EVER!
and mike Illitch will be THE worst BASEBALL Owner (Next to Blockbuster Video founder Wayne H.)in history.

->If you saw the WNBA all-star game, you saw something at halftime I found kinda historic..the former head coach
of the Detroit Shock(and STILL a looker..next to my lady Pita of course) Nancy Lieberman with the new head coach
Bill Laimbeer and both are STILL class acts, so are the Shock, or should I say ..THE BAD GIRLS??

->Last week I had somewhat a reality shit kicking, my broadcast partner is thinking of pulling a split with me as we get
closer to a decision on the life of our shelved radio show, and its got me to thinking,maybe I should try another route
In my life,i've been really interested in maybe becoming a writer of poems or maybe going into a different direction
altogether, I dont know..

->I've been watching "SOUND STAGE" on PBS, which returns under the eye (at least 6-7 episodes) of Steve Dahl and his
HDReady production company,he stepped out to concentrate on hsi radio show, maybe he could help us??

->As we draw near to my date with Florida Destiny, heres something that has somewhat given me a bit of disturbing
thought, seems that a Chicago news anchor is being cyberstalked, you can find the story in Robert Feeder's column
in the chicago sun times website.

->Life here has become a bit complex, somehow I need to let off some steam..I need to holler and raise some kane,
or just try to break loose,Saturday at 8:30am I'll have my ususal chance to vent as once again I'll be at the AWWL
BIG TIME WRESTLING taping, then sunday I'll be at The AWWL's "Midsummer Madness" at the Optimist Arena start
time is 7:30.

->Writers suffer Writers Block, Painters suffer Painters block, me...I suffer from "Hitting the Creative Wall" and I have done that...I dont know when the flow will be returning, maybe before next month.

->Friday is the begining of something big...cant say what it is, but Its something that I must do, if only to prove to
myself that I can take on any and all challenges head on.

->As for what I said earlier..you know something, Ive nothing to worry about, Im no stalker, and Pita and I are
friends and that she knows how I feel and has loved all I've sent to her.. so ive not one thing to worry about.

LUPITA:THE GOLDEN PRINCESS:PART SEVEN

Back in the guarded cave Lupita continued to weep,as she longed for her love Stefan, Gousazh came in
and took her from the chair she was tied from and placed her on her bed.
"You sleep now, everything will be ok..we are begining to grow in numbers,there are now those who fear that this man is nothing but a puppet of this Rocko charature, some are scared now of both of them" Gousazh said.

Lupita coulnt speak, she was too tired and her voice was gone from all the crying, Gousazh closed her cell and resumed guarding it, meanwhile as the stars were glistening Lupita bagan to close her eyes,and fall to sleep,but her sleep was interupted by a mysterious figure, it was stefan,Lupita was happy to see him, before she could speak, stefan put a finger to her mouth and said "My dearest, I will come for you, you must stay strong and remember I am alive."
She could not speak, but felt his hands caress her body.
He knelt beside her and kissed her passionately, then he caressed her breasts, she moaned with delight as her love was with her, he then nibbled at her nipples and then positioned her as they made love in the cave.
Lupita moaned so much that she woke up and found that she was alone and was pleasuring herself in her sleep, she smiled and went back to sleep.

Daybreak came to the land, but for Lupita she was still in the cave with no hope of rescue, Gousazh came in and gave her clean clothing, lupita spoke "you didnt hear anything did you??" , gousazh smiled and said, "the water I gave you was an old family recipie where one drink and you can see what your heart cries for, how do you think i met my wife Buisita."
"it was so real..thank you" Lupita said and gave gousazh a kiss on the cheek, Gousazh blushed and smiled "thats the best reward I ever got" he said.

on the other side of the tribal land, stefan awoke with a smile,"I had a crazy dream, I dreamt that I made love to my wife in the prison", The Prince looked at Stefan and said , that was no dream, you drank some Soulika, thats sort of like a mix of your chablis and a red tea that makes you see what is in your heart. and you feel it afterwards.
"Wow!, that was some stuff,thanks!" Stefan said, the prince laughed and said, "Dont thank me, thank him!" just then a 69 year old male with white hair and his voice filled with pride still wearing the royal tribal garb and bringing with him an army of guards. "I am king Mazawi of the zulosizi tribe,I welcome those who would see me safely to my people,and take that bastard who would steal my crown and my people, and punish him!..WE GO!"
and the party all took to jeeps and drove to the tribal home.

Back at the Zulosizi tribal camp, Donald in his demented state went to the cave where lupita was and with guards surrounding him said "My love, it is time for our wedding" Lupita spat at him and said " go to hell, my heart is with Stefan!", Donald had one of his slaves wipe his face of the spit, he slapped her face again, "YOU WILL BE MINE BITCH OR DIE LIKE YOUR HUSBAND!" Donald said, and just in case you refuse, My friend here will persuade you further"
Rocko Sandoval entered with a gun, "see my queen, thsi is my judge, my business associate ..AND EXECUTIONER!"
Donald held his hand and rocko shot two tribesmen,the other tribespeople were stunned but too scared to do anything about it. Rocko spoke "now then young lady, WHOSE GOING TO SAVE YOU NOW!" as he and donald started toward her, Donald said "GRAB HER !" lupita tried to struggle as she was held against her will. "the rest of you leave us, we've some unfinished business to do",Donald looked at Lupita and smiled with a evil smile.."who needs Stefan,I am your husband, for it is foretold that you will be mine, Rocko, tie her up on the pole" Rocko oblidged and as he tied her arms behind the pole he whispered her Lupita "you shold be lucky your alive ..if we were still on the mainland I'd have my way with you,but enjoy it while you can..because when im through ILL BE KING..and you'll be DEAD like Stefan!" Lupita continued to struggle as Rocko looked at her body, although I dont know why Donald wants you, WHEN I WOULDVE HAD YOU" Rocko said and gave her a little slap on her butt,and left with the guards and shut the door. the lights from the tiki torches surrounded her as donald drew closer towards her, Lupita could feel his hot breath on her neck and then he caressed her face and was about to kiss her when she spat on him, Donald wiped the spit off him "You'll regret that !" and slapped her hard then ripped open her top exposing her breasts,he then looked and began to caress her breasts,as lupita struggled she could do nothing as Donald kissed and licked her nipples making her moan, he then stopped and kissed her on the lips, "What about that my queen ?" Donald asked , lupita smiled and then spat on him "YOU WILL NEVER MAKE ME LOVE YOU LIKE I LOVE STEFAN,I RATHER DIE THEN BE YOUR QUEEN!" a defiant Lupita said with anger. Donald pulled her hair back "You will be mine" , then took out a knife and untied her right hand. Lupita slapped him hard and said "that will never happen you bastard, I will only love one MAN..STEFAN", she started to slap him again, but Donald grabbed her hand and said , "Lets put that hand to good use" he then took her hand and forced her to undo his pants, his manhood was realeased from its prison, "You WILL now be engulfed by my love juices as you become sole property of ME!" donald said as he forced lupita to stroke his manhood,he was getting aroused, "Now is the time to fulfill the legacy,he stared to take down Lupuita's shorts and just as Donald was about to force himself on a scared Lupita, Rocko raced in" My King, weve got company, THE REAL KING !" and he's not alone"
Donald fixed himself up and asked "Who else is with him??" ,rocko looked through the "nocs" and said, "OH GOD! Maria, the Prince, the King, Rene, and ...oh crap!" he turned to Donald..."STEFAN!". "WHAT!!!", donald said, with anger ..
"Stefan is Alive" Rocko said. Donald took a look and began to get further into dementia "I AM THE KING! ROCKO, READY THE WEDDING"
Lupita ,still shaken by the attempted rape was forced to get up by gun point, and join Donald, meanwhile panic insude as troops loyal to the real king made tehir way to the tribal land and a shootout took place, as tribespeople went for safety, the prince looked at Stefan "theres the cave, you and Rene start out with my guards providing support, Maria will stay with the king and Ill lead my team through the battle..GO!"

Donald saw stefan,Rene and 150 combined troops and tribesmen getting near the cave, "Rocko grab her!" as Rocko grabbed Lupita and along with Donald in a very drugged out demented state started up towards the cave, Lupita saw Stefan and the rescue party, "STEFAN MY LOVE...HELP" Stefan saw a big guard with a spear about to throw it .".NO!!"
Stefan cried,and threw a rock at the spear, Gousazh looked and said "bloddy hell, I was going for their tires, you must be Stefan and Rene, the Prince told me about you lot..never believed it..TILL NOW.." Stefan and Rene were speechless,
"Come on you lot, Im Gousazh..the prince's friend and his aide to the Zuliosi Tribe, best get on now!" the rescue party started up towards the fleeing humvee of Donald and Rocko.

Rene looked startled "oh my god..look ", they all looked as on top of the volcano was a golden carved sculptre of Lupita's mother...and a pulpit where all the tribes riches were placed .. Donald and rocko took a tied up and shaken Lupita to the pulpit, "oh god, are we too late?" Stefan said ..

Capital cool on American merger

Mansfield: "I won't be picking up the phone"

David Mansfield, chief executive of Capital Radio, has ruled out a merger with Clear Channel, saying there would be a "major cultural clash" between the two companies.
Mr Mansfield said he would not even talk to the American radio giant when asked by the BBC director general, Greg Dyke, how Capital would respond to a takeover approach from America's largest radio group in the new regulatory environment following the passing into law of the communications bill.

"As far as the business in general is concerned, it is better to have as many people who can buy the stock as possible," said Mr Mansfield, speaking at the Radio Festival in Birmingham.

"There are some fundamental cultural differences in approaches between a company like Clear Channel and a company like Capital.

"Lowry Mays [head of Clear Channel] said at this conference last year that his business was all about selling hamburgers and Fords. But we are driven by listeners.

"We will probably have a major cultural clash should Clear Channel make an approach. They have said on a number of occasions that they would like to be involved in British radio, but by invitation only. I won't be picking up the phone."

The American company, with 1,200 radio stations - around 10% of the market - is five times bigger than its nearest competitor and wields huge power in the US and over the content of its radio stations.

Clear Channel is relatively unknown in the UK, even though it has interests in advertising - it owns the Adshell and More O'Ferrall poster companies - and owns part of SFX, the company that represents David Beckham and deals with all his public appearances.

During the war on Iraq it was accused of whipping up pro-war fervour among listeners and, it was claimed, ordered its radio stations to stop playing music by country group the Dixie Chicks after singer Natalie Maines said she was ashamed to come from Texas, the same state as President Bush.

Questions have also been raised about the issue of illegally taking "pay for play".

The company has denied banning the Dixie Chicks and of organising pro-war rallies.

Clear Channel, which started in 1972, did not begin to become a big radio player until the late 1990s. In 1996 it owned 43 stations and when ownership rules were relaxed it exploded in size.

It argues that, far from killing American radio, it has been its saviour by buying struggling stations and diversifying formats. Its supporters contend that consolidation actually forces more diverse programming to prevent overlap in a single market.

"The bigger the radio groups, the better they can serve advertisers, and more resources are then available to invest in output for the benefit of listeners," Mr Mays told last year's Radio Festival in Cambridge.

GWR, one of the UK's largest radio groups and owner of Classic FM, said it was not worried by Clear Channel's ambitions.

"It doesn't matter who owns the company, what matters is the content regulation. Clear Channel's approach is simply one that wouldn't be permitted in the UK and that is the biggest protection to what people see as the threat of American ownership," said Ralph Bernard, the executive chairman of GWR.

However, Mr Mansfield said he believed consolidation would take place, but "not as quickly as everyone would like. We have got to go through a lot of hurdles - the competition commission, Ofcom, the office of fair trading and now a public interest test."

He added that,although there were some signs that the recession was receding, Capital Radio did not foresee any short-term improvement in advertising revenue. "We're not planning in the immediate future any pick up in revenue," he said.

And Mr Bernard added: 'We are reasonably bullish for the future. But I think Classic is one of those companies that is always going to find it reasonably hard to find revenue

Inside the cave,a frightened and hurt Lupita was tied up, she saw Rocko with Donald and spoke " How did you get out of Prison you viper?", Donald looked and spoke, "You know this man my love?", "Yes you vile and vulgar man,this is the most
evilest man on earth, he tried to kill my father and my stefan" Donald smiled and said "but I am your husband now..or soon will be,after the body of your husband is found"
Rocko looked at the gold that surrounded her, "ahh yes, then you will work for me,"Rocko Smiled and chuckled as he felt Lupita's cheek, she bit his finger as his hand came to her lips.
"OWWW! YOU BITCH!" and Rocko slapped Lupita hard in the face,"You will pay for that I promise you!" and left ..

Donald looked at lupita longly, and stroked her long blonde hair, "ohh my darling,it will all be over soon,then you will be my queen" as he spoke his hands then felt and caressed her breasts, Lupita began to moan slightly "ohhh stefan" he then stopped and pulled her hair back hard and smacked her on the face there was a demented anger on his face when he spoke, "forget him, you are mine, screw it" and he began to rip Lupita's clothes off and began to drop his pants, just as Donald was about to force himself on her,one of the brainwashed tribemembers came in, "King, we have visitors, you come quick" donald pulled his pants up and said "You WILL be mine!" and went with the tribesman, "Get the weapons!" Gousazh, NO ONE must pass here, but me and my associate...Gousazh nodded.

As Gousazh saw the half naked Lupita shaken, with bruises on her face and arms and legs, he motioned for another guard, " you! Stand guard!" and went to her aid, as he did he took a bowl and got some water and a rag and began to
get close to Lupita. he looked behind him and all over, then he spoke, and shocked Lupita when he spoke softly as so no one could hear. "Lupita, is it?? hi Im Gousazh, but you can call me your friend, dont worry, i'm not like the others who have been brainwashed" He continued to tend to her wounds, "Im a friend of the Prince's, first of all, your husband is very much alive, I dont have much time to speak, for I saw what those bastards did, see I belong to a resistance who wants to bring back our king, this one is pure evil, he needs to be stopped NOW!, I must do something, are you ok?"

Lupita nodded, "But why ??" she asked as Gousazh lit a torch to the window and waved it, a light from the other side flashed twice, "it has begun, they will come, Listen I cant talk much longer, but your husband and friends are coming with help, but they will need more than army to save my people. On the other side of the camp, hidden from view of Donald and others, the rescue party got the note, stefan was angered "DAMN HIM!! HE EVER TOUCHES MY WIFE AGAIN, ILL KILL HIM!!" the prince grabbed him, "Look,dont worry..as long as Gousazh is on our side, he wont have his way with her, but now we got to go get our ace in the hole..." Rene looked and said "we got Svetlana, who else do we need??" the king stood up and spoke.." My Brother ..King Mazawi"
Just then a noise was heard , it was zimu one of the former King's guards.."your majesty, I come with news, The king has been found, but we must go, I fear someone follow zimu."

The party left to the hummer and rode to find the king, and thus begin to save the tribe and lupita,Rene looked at the Prince and said, "Donald partnered with Rocko, oh boy, hope he knows that he has more trouble now than he thought"
the Prince looked and said "Why?" Stefan intoned,"Rocko is only into money, and if I know Rocko, he seen the gold and trinkets, and will use that to...OH MY GOD, NO!!!!!

the King looked concerned "What do you meen?, what is it with this Rocko characture?" Stefan looked as the hummer continued to the deposed King's hideout, "Rocko is going to kill donald and plans on making Lupita his golden lady..
by dipping her IN GOLD!!!"

They arrived at the disposed kings bungalow..."now more than ever, we have to save my wife,and the tribe, cause Rocko
will kill them to get hsi hands on the gold"

you have to ask yourself, why? and the countdown regretfully continues

->Our buds at the "Beeb" are fighting for want of a better word....survival! see ever since a report saying that the Brit
government was goosing up the war , and now even the queen is blasting the Beeb over their coverage of this mess.
One thing for sure, the Beeb is sticking to its guns,even at the cost of going private.

->As you notice on the links page ive added more pics of my lady Pita..she is the soul of my spirit and has my heart.
I know I sound like a lovesick pup, but I got to say it, She is the woman I have dreamed about, and im going to
try not to blow it, Pita is a special lady, and I am making sure that each step I take, is in the right direction so I
dont end up alone.

->Well, as you know Pribax Radio is on the shelf, but is returning to life this fall (hope) ive kept buzy, as has everyone
else, and Doug has continued to push through his publicity stunt "same Sex marriage" but I continue to refuse,
he explained it thus, "we arent gay, we are two men getting married"
WRONG!! now Doug can do his stunt, not with me, My heart is with Pita, and I am going to continue to send her
flowers,poems, and candy, I am doing things the old fashioned way, I am courting her, with success I might add/
But this is the final word on Dougs publicity stunt..NO! Discussion closed, subject closed, stunt aborted!

See,you dont need stunts to make the listeners want to listen, you let the show speak for itself, thats how I have
decided to go with the new Pribax Radio, our motto is "NO STUNTS...JUST REAL RADIO". To me the only ones who need
to pull publicity stunts, are those who need to boost up ratings. If we follow the plan that me and paul came up with
which is a combo of what we did at WXUT with an emphasis on Information and entertainment, the listener will be
there, see in the case of cable news flop MSNBC they went to the publicty stunt well with former minnesota gov
Jesse Ventura and they flopped. You dont need to pull stunts to get ratings.

->Good bye is difficult,Hollywood suffered yet another loss, not only the voice of love Barry White, but now Buddy Ebsen
has also passed away, both unique talents,both gave all fans entertainment.

->Our first saturday installment of what we ususally put on just Monday, so what is there to talk about?

->Well it looks like Doug has finally got it through his head that his idea for a publicity stunt has been done to death
and as you know I am one who believes in letting the show speak for us, and no publicity stunts, My Idea is
to let the show create itself, we dont need a publicity stunt to create talk about the show,let the show speak for itself.
But you know he'll continue to press the issue even if we are on air. but I am sticking by my veto, and NOTHING will
make me change my mind.


->Now, i've recently sent some segs of our show to lansing radio stations, lets hope they like it.

->Well, looks like I'll be the only one going to Florida, which is good because now I could have more fun with my visit to
miami, and If you watched "De mananita" you saw the "Flowerworks" display I had my florida florist create, she also
loved my poem... looks like this is one relationship that will be the winner.

-> Paul continues to work very well with the gang of Clear Channel, he did a great job on the 4th of july, I see him
as the ultimate producer, next to Matt Cullbreath.

->I went to my relatives which wasnt bad, in fact it was super. had hot dogs and fruit. came home and enjoyed the peace
and quiet.

-> 19 July I will be appearing at the WLAJ studios for another taping for "BIG TIME WRESTLING", The AWWL is getting
better and improving each week, on the following night I'll be at the jackson optomist arena for another AWWL event.

-> Well, not much going on here, as we continue on the countdown to florida..
