Well my friends, its been a long time since our last get together,so whats going on with my life?
Not much!
Lets face it, since the health of my mother has somewhat been priority one, things have been rather stale job wise, as I've had to concentrate more on helping my mom stay healthy now more than ever.
Sure I do take stops here and there to do thiongs for a cable network here in Jackson, but
it dont pay, and lets face it, Jackson continues to die slowly and surely.
Also, since Ive had to help my mother, I dont have much time to chat with people on line
like i used to, my mom is almost 70, so Ive no choice but to help around when the need arises.
Anyway,no excuses anymore, I have to get either work that pays, or go "On the dole" as they say.
As i said earlier, Jackson is still dying and it seems that no one really gives a shit, and while I was at the Chili Cookoff, it finally dawned on me about something, the reason I dont have a job at JTV is for the simple reason,my show ideas are NOT suitable FOR JTV, reason is that JTV is used mainly as a PR tool for the city of Jackson to showcase the good,think of JTV as the FOX NEWS CHANNEL for P.R. you dont see the bad, only the good, while that maybe ok for some, for me, I prefer something a bit balanced.
I rather go into radio, for there are no restrictions,you can air both sides and induce some conversation, something that lacks on JTV.
WKHM seems to be ,at least to me ..a perfect fit! they arent a P.R. tool for the city , the tell it like it is , straight and to the point.
Radio is what I want to do!
