what the management has done is now all but complete...THE DESTRUCTION OF THE CBC!
First-Distroy their news credibility: DONE LONG AGO
Second-Distroy local programming: DONE
Third-Lose key programming: DONE, Juno's and the olympics to CTV, NOW the Geminis to GLOBAL
Fourth:Distroy their sports coverage: DONE,Say goodbye to the CFL,Olympics and ..possibly HOCKEY

And the blame dear brutus, lies with the only man who just dont seem to rasp what he has totally done

By locking out your employees,by not LISTENING to the public,you have all but made the CBC totally redundant!

Now here is what I would do if I ran the CBC:

Restore ALL local programming to the stations,that means,for example for those of us here in the border :

NOON to 1pm-Midday Windsor /CBC MIDDAY

4 to 5:30-CBC Afternoon line up

Evenings
5:30 to 6:30-WINDSOR TONIGHT
6:30 to 7pm-CBC CANADA NOW
7 to 7:30-CBET SPORTSNIGHT
7:30 to 8pm-WINDSOR ENTERTAINMENT MAGAZINE
8 to 10pm-CBC Programming
10 to 11pm-The National
11 to 11:30-NEWSFINAL
11:30 to Midnight-CBET SPORTSFINAL
Midnight to 2am- CBET LATE NIGHT VARIETY:Mon-thur Movies / Friday "VARIETY TONIGHT"
2am to 6am-CBC NEWSWORLD

Weekends would be a combination of How to shows,local and canadian sports,news local and across canada
and sports or regional entertainment programming

I would build the CBC around the viewers needs,wants, and suggestions and NOT on what the government wants from the CBC,the CBC would FINALLY be a PUBLIC telecaster!

Its begins tomorrow,I cant wait when the parent leaves for her teaching gig tomorrow, thats when I begin to make a few changes in my life and a certain young,beautiful blonde goddess will see that I meant what I said That I will win her heart with a special something that begins Friday .

Its begins with a few job apps,dont care where ,just as long as its done. then put my audition tape out there for anyone to hear ,correctly too.

Lots to say...but first an open letter

To the critics of Pita Ojeda,
I have stood in the background and held my tounge long enough as you folks took your
pot shots on my ladyfriend Pita Ojeda and on her job as Segment host.
that was..UNTIL NOW!

First,she is NOT a slut,skank,or as some on a message board have labled her,a doofy bimbo.
Pita is one VERY talented,intelligent and sweetest women I have known and truly do love, her style is
unique,as she is well versed in the subject, a author of a book on money and beauty.
In fact she STARTED the very show she now does a segment on, HOY!,check her bio folks, does she look or act like a bimbo ???

Second,even tho I am Pita's guy, I am unbiased as to my feelings towards her and the segment she does,when she was host of Telemundo's De Mananita she was the spark of that show and you could tell she loved it and it showed.
Now that she is a segment host,she could reel back and enjoy herself more and not be put under pressure to prove herself,but noo, you the critics want her to be the Pita on De Mananita, but she isnt,that Pita no longer exist.

This Pita now has a buldging career as Producer,her production company is new,BUT it has chruned out winners for broadcast on either TV or Radio,so she has changed not only her attitude, but her appearance as well, gone are the short short skirts and low cut tops, replaced by a more business type of outfits that make her look like a woman of business and it shows on the air,tho some of the old Pita does come out,she has changed in a more inner way.

Her SPIRIT glows during each 5-10 minute segment during the 10:30am Mex./11:30 am et part of "HOY",
now while the feud between Univision (owner of Galavision) and Televisa (owner of HOY's flagship channel Canal De las Estrellas XEW2) has continued to be strained and it shows as on some occassions Galavision USA has either cut the show,pre-empted the show,banned the show,or joined a segment in progress.
last few days Pita's segment has been "Joined in progress" .

Pita is a diamond that could've been cultivated and allowed to grow on Telemundo, but again Management never saw her as Televisa does.

So to the critics who have dissed and disected Pita ...FUCK OFF and watch her the way I and some others do, with both open eyes and mind.

I got $54,921,586 to be happy today...CONGRATS JERRY!!

Well I did my thing but THIS year,I did it BETTER than last year,pledging $125 total that includes hurricane relief,this weekend and today.

Now on to business...

First to the drunk idiots in columbus,ohio who were not so kind to the Mexican Soccer team shouting some not so nice things in their loss to team USA, YOU ARE THE ONES WHO SUCK!, Team Mexico was equally talented and played their hearts out as did the USA Team...so both deserved equal respect, not just singular!
as this rivalry continues.

Also,I was watching last night's "DEPORTV" and I am going to get them big time! because I am a bit angry that these guys compared the USA/MEXICO rivalry to that of Miami or Ohio vs Ohio State...WRONG!!! WRONG!!, WRONG!!! ...it should be compared to MICHIGAN WOLVERINES VS OHIO STATE! god and these guys are sports gurus???, how the hell could they miss THAT!!!????

Today I witnessed as did others a pathetic site..."Mr Oilman president" using a tragdey for a photo op,while last night more chaos reigned,shootings,rapes,looting...while "King George IV" continues to evade questions and suggestions as Gas rises to $4 to $5..even $6 a gallon...we KNOW just where his heart lies..in OIL.

Meanwhile a city burns,stinks,and is littered with death and devistation...

this comment from Anderson Cooper of CNN says it more than I can when he had on a senator who just wanted to pat her fellow senators on the back:
Excuse me, Senator, I'm sorry for interrupting. I haven't heard that, because, for the last four days, I've been seeing dead bodies in the streets here in Mississippi. And to listen to politicians thanking each other and complimenting each other, you know, I got to tell you, there are a lot of people here who are very upset, and very angry, and very frustrated.And when they hear politicians slap -- you know, thanking one another, it just, you know, it kind of cuts them the wrong way right now, because literally there was a body on the streets of this town yesterday being eaten by rats because this woman had been laying in the street for 48 hours. And there's not enough facilities to take her up. Do you get the anger that is out here?

Dear sir:
A city and its people are dying and you sit on your fat money grubbing oily ass and do nothing but say "we are doing the best we can"
ITS NOT GOOD ENOUGH !! we know the people will donate money to help in the relief effort, but you sir have got to stand up and fucking GET WITH IT!!!
The city of New Oreleans is now DEAD,what is left is a virtual ghost town of lawlessness,lootings,shootings rapes,murders,and all you can do is sit there while a city dies from a hurricane and use it to boost your falling numbers.
You have the freaking nerve to compare this to hiroshima??? and again invoke 11 september,jesus christ how many times will you use September 11 for shit.

These people need to know that you give a damn and wont use it as another fucking photo oppertunity, thousands are feared dead,today a picture spoke millions to me ...Sheppard Smith of Fox News Channel showing a elderly man dead on the famed I-10 freeway...dead because he was waiting for help.

Today ABC News Diane Sawyer asked you a question from FNCs Bill O Reilly "why dont you get the oil companies to cut back 20% to help these people?? your response "I would like to see the private sector an dthe public donate money to the refugees",what a caring president SOME people voted for, you even have ONE person trapped with a gun to protect him and his store from looters..

Damnit Mr. Oilman, you cheap ass excuse for a human being, get this through your fucking head,you are KILLING your own people by doing NOTHING!!
