Welcome kiddies to the annual fun fiesta that is FALL TV SEASON ANNOUNCEMENTS, or "Upfronts" as well call them here in hell..uh LAS VEGAS I mean. So which network is going to win viewers and which network will bite "the big wonton"

"FATHOM"-- Ever wonder what life would be like if a new form of sea life began to appear in locales all over the earth? In this expansive drama, those who are about to find out include some naval officers in the South Antarctic Sea, a family in San Diego, scientists from the Oceanographic Institute in Monterey, and fishermen in the Gulf of Mexico. The seemingly innocent creatures they find are beautiful and kids may even want to play with them -- but is there something more to them? One thing's for sure - they're full of surprises as viewers can embark on this unfathomable journey to discover what might be lurking in the sea. Lake Bell ("Boston Legal") stars as Daughtery Carstarphen, along with Jay R. Ferguson ("Judging Amy") as Richard Owen, Rade Serbedzija ("Snatch") as Dr. Aleksander Cirko, and Carter Jenkins ("CSI: NY") as Miles. "Fathom" is from NBC Universal Television Studio and was created by Josh and Jonas Pate ("Dragnet"), who also serve as executive producers.

Despite his seemingly limited intelligence, he is oddly effective -- and ultimately, the comedy series, like Earl himself, has a voice and style all its own. Written and executive-produced by Greg Garcia ("Yes, Dear"), "Earl" also stars Jamie Pressly ("Not Another Teen Movie") as Earl's wife Joy, Ethan Suplee ("Cold Mountain") as his hapless brother, and Nadine Velazquez ("The Bold and the Beautiful") as a hotel maid whom the brothers befriend. and its a comedy??? ok i'll bite, but I fear not many will like the bitter after taste it leaves.. we roll 7 on this one...as in episodes before NBC cans it.

"FOUR KINGS"-- Emmy Award winners David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, creators of the award-winning comedy "Will & Grace," present "Four Kings," an exploration of four lifelong friends on the cusp of adulthood: Barry (Seth Green, the "Austin Powers" franchise, "The Italian Job"), Bobby (Shane McRae, "One Life to Live"), Ben (Josh Cooke, "Committed") and Jason (Todd Grinnell, "The Dangling Conversation") couldn't imagine life without one another. Since childhood, these bosom buddies haven't spent so much as a birthday apart, but when Ben's grandmother, who dubbed them the "Four Kings of New York," passes away, Ben inherits her apartment and decides to share it with his lifelong friends. But despite the comfort of their posh new surroundings and efforts to cling to their youth, adulthood begins drawing these Four Kings knee-deep into situations that aren't always easy to escape in this honest exploration of life-term friendship. That's easier said than done, however, when Mary's family and friends still see her as her former self. They include her overweight mother (multiple Emmy winner Sharon Gless, "Cagney and Lacey"), her overweight younger sister (newcomer Amy Halloran), her father (Martin Mull, "Roseanne"), and her weight-loss program buddy (Mel Rodriguez, "Panic Room"). But it is at the pool-and-spa company franchise she owns in suburban Florida that she finds her most unlikely confidant, her brother-in-law (Chris Parnell, NBC's "Saturday Night Live"), the company's "leotard-ed" spokesperson named "Captain Chlorine." The big feud has now become VERY muddied and VERY Personal between Univision and its former parent..Televisa
Lets go back, before we go too forward..a timeline of you would on the history of Univision..as it was.

1961:SIN-The spanish international Network began operations, owned at that time by TELEVISA, the mexico city based entertainment/media conglomerate,programming was 80% produced by Televisa

1986:The FCC found SIN to be in violation of U.S. laws that forbid foreign ownership of U.S. based networks
Televisa had to divest itself of SIN and sold it to Kansas City Based Hallmark Cards, the network was renamed UNIVISION ,programming went from 80% televisa produced to a 50-50 precentage

1992: Hallmark,which purchased SIN using mainly junk bonds was unable to recover its intial investment
in the network and sold it to78 year old Italian born reclusive entertainment executive A. Jerold Perenchino and began
to dismantle the network by firing a third of the network's core employees and reduce the programming produced by Univision from 50% to 30% with the remaining 70% divvied up between Televisa and Venezuelan broadcaster Venevision,meanwhile ownership of the network would be split up between the networks and Perenchino, with Perenchino getting 50% PLUS something called "Supreme voting shares" while the other 50% was divided between Venevision and Televisa

2004:Perenchino names Univision executive Ray Rodriguez as new President and Cheif Operating Officer of the network Without asking Grupo Televisa president Emilio Azcarraga (a member of the board of directors of UNIVISION) for his input. Televisa gets the cold shoulder when asked when will it recieve payment for programs that air on Univision other networks (Univision,Galavision,Telefutura). Televisa bars ALL its talent from appearing on ANY Univision produced program and special.

2005:Feud boils over as reports leak of a possible takeover of Univision by the Azcarraga family run Grupo Televisa,who claims mismanagement by Perenchino and his group.

Which leads us to this weeks stunner, Grupo Televisa Chairman and president Emilio Azcarraga announces his resignation as Vice-Chair of UNIVISION ,and then on the eve of shareholders meeting ,delivers a big blow to Univision and files a lawsuit against Perenchino and his group on breach of contract and failure to pay program royalties to Televisa to the tune of $1.5 to $2 million dollars as well as altering Televisa produced programs without consent.

Some say that this is the begining of Televisa's attempt to start up TELEVISA INTERNATIONAL like their competition Mexico City's SECOND network TV AZTECA has done with AZTECA AMERICA,which has seen its profile upped more with a big deal with Satellite broadcaster Echostar's DISH NETWORK, and its ratings soar.

But for me, I could freaking care less about that show, and why....?
There is a show on TV Azteca (seen on dish as AZTECA AMERICA) that makes American idol look more like THE GONG SHOW, its called LA ACADEMIA AZTECA, and its concept is FARRRR beyond that of American Idol, VERRRY FAR.

First,While American Idol DRAGGGGGGGGS it out for three days till the BIG MOMENT, LA ACADEMIA has a Sunday night 3 hour Concert THEN expells one person out of LA ACADEMIA

Second,Instead of 3 judges on Idol , we have four on La Academia,and NONE of them date the contestants NOR are they easy to please,at least these judges dress a bit stylish, a bit of biog on the 4 judges: Please note I used translator for the description

You can tell its the may Sweeps by the way the networks and local stations are getting the sleaze and tease ready, proof of that..the infamous "AMERICAN IDOL SCANDAL" The "Corey Clark infomercial" masked as a "PRIME TIME LIVE expose" on abc television aired wednesday night to suprizingly high ratings,at first I kinda started to believe that there was something to his story.
BUT after I heard the alledged audio tape of the supposed phone call,Something didnt jibe well, then in my mind I heard it again, and I could faintly hear a distinct "audio bump" like the tape was spliced,and to my ears, it was.
I began to see just what was going on, when FOX and Simon Cowell's 19 Entertainment along with FremantleMEDIA had requested him to help them with more details of this alledged affair between him and Abdul,Clark on a couple of morning shows said to the effect he wont help them, that they (FOX and 19 Entertainment) screwed him for the past two years why would he help them?

To make that statement turned on the red light as far as I'm concerned, that this was not a man to be trusted NOR believed,and that indeed this was Corey Clark's way of getting back at not only Abdul,BUT the producers of American Idol who kicked him off the show when he didnt come clean on a criminal record including abuse.

Could this lead to the end of a career comeback for the former Laker Girl who became a overnight success
The investigation continues,but with the denial of help from a man, who has in my opinion by his own words
perjured himself,that alone should clear Paula Abdul of all charges

Paula,In my opinion is being used by a disgruntled contestant who thought he was "the golden boy" of American Idol, but was instead revealed as a desperate and deceitful man who used someones name for
his own benefit,and now wants to distroy her career because he thought he could be a star.

To Corey Clark, your scam has been uncovered,and by your own words,you have impailed yourself on your own lie.
