Brief explaination to those of you just finding this blog, DO NOT ADJUST YOUR EYES..NOR BRAIN CELLS, this blog is a potpourri of mind numbing collective
thoughts on either newsworthy events and not political photo ops, or whatever is happenng outside of the major events.
Also,yes it does contain some creative use of the language.so no little kiddies should be eyeballing it.

TOPIC A-California Weather:
What is it between California and the rest of the country, OK, they have earthquakes,thats all thats different about California..to this michiganian (who is texan born) they have the exact kind of weather we do..
they have rain, we have rain, they have snow, we get snow...no biggie!
But DAMN they hype it up!!
Classic example when we have a major thunderstorm , we air a simple bulletin with words and calmness so that the viewer can understand,I was watching the 2 cali stations I get on DISH and it was like OH MY GOD!!! GET THE ACTION NEWS EYEWITNESS STORMTRACKER UNIT STAT!!! and most of the newscast is like they never seen rain!, "We're on STORM WATCH!!!" come on guys its just rain!!! the world isnt ending...Pauly Shore hasnt made another movie yet...but come on weve all seen rain,yes it does create flooding,we here on the midsection of the country live with it, yet we survive.
Now I understand that weather sometimes makes the news, and it does help if you report it fair and accurate, but do we need to make it like a movie of the week??
TOPIC B-Chuck Henry:can someone answer me this question,WHY IS THIS GUY AFRAID OF WHAT HE DID IN THE PAST??
come on Chuck...so you did game shows, big deal, Former KNBC anchor Tracie Savage did a nude love scene in the original "Friday The 13th" movie that STILL gets hoots! but I dont see her burying it in her closet of her mind,nor do I see her preventing fans from seeing it on showtime or other cable movie outlets...you should be proud of doing what you did and show the world..or at least those with Game Show Network I mean you are a part of the history of game shows, i mean sheesh Warren Beatty was in Dobie Gillis fer crying out feldman!! so you did some game shows, big Harry Volkerman deal..Diana Lewis did the original ROCKY movie, BILL BONDS did Planet of the apes, they are proud of what they did, so should you , to hell with vanity!!
Newspeople who did movies or tv shows should be proud NOT ASHAMED!!!

Mish Mash!
What happened to Kathleen Sullivan??? she was back in teh spotlight ,now she has dissappeared??, and uh on another topic ..MADtv got renewed, but what happened to that deliciously funny and talented Debra Wilson, last time she made an TV appearance was for one of those E! shows..or CSI?
Odds and Ends:
Lisa Joyner...I actually think this lady is one intelligently attractive and funny woman who can charm the very socks off anyone and everyone,she used to work at FOX11, FOX11 continues to kick themselves constantly.
Lisa is one in a million and arent we glad of that!
Now you know I hate what the pres is doing to the constitution especially free speech, I join with Aftra and all the entertainment community in saying STOP THE SILENCE!
I listened to Roger Lodge's morning show online, not bad, and thank god he dont have a cheesy closing line like that other morning show host ..whats his name again bryan....ryan....funny it slipped my mind!
I saw Vera's car commercial....not bad, finally saw that she has cute legs!
why she never shows them on the traffic rep....OK I think I see why they never show Vera's legs, there could be the ultimate traffic jam on the 101...lol
Vera is I think better than Jennifer York, I mean tag teamming with Alex Calder is great ...and Alex is becoming a star in his own right! I see maybe his own blog soon.
Kent Shocknek's Blog is funny as heck, I am putting it as a link along with Josh's on my list of fun!
Suzanne Rico has gotten engaged,no not to Kent,although some wonder about them, they do act like a married couple sometimes..lol KIDDING KENT!!
Suzanne got engaged to "mr. Wonderful" during a great vacation in Bali! awww
now thats how you top off a vacation! Congrats Suzanne!
Now here is a challenge for the L.A. TV Folks.. come up here when Race Week comes up this summer we know how to party, but then again California DOES have a bit of Jackson,Michigan with them...CALIFORNIA RACEWAY, Thats from Michigan International Speedway!!
You guys would love "THE PARLOUR" its the best place for ICE CREAM!
