THE STATE OF THE UNION...UNDRESSED
By Steve Baxley

Well here we go again, lots to talk about..so without further adieu ..lets begin

First on our list: My health
Well last night I almost died, I was having a steak and some rice with lite soy sauce,
well after taking a few bites , I felt my throat close up on me and I started to chock, I tried to drink something, but
it didnt work, and for 30 to 45 minutes I couldnt force it out, so I walked a bit back and forth, and then did some bending exercizes, and still nothing, so I gave a forced burp with tickling the throat and I got it out..
It was a dark glob, but I was relieved it was over,
The after affect is that my chest hurts and I feel sick, so I think i am going to take it easy food wise, and I think also I am going to put on my new website home a new article where I will put on it a update on my diet and how I am doing and what I eat ..I may put a weekly recap right here too.
But things are going to change a bit, physically and mentally..so stay tuned

Second on our list:The Big Speech
King George II did his speech and it was about as interesting as jock itch!
not only is he banging the drums of war rapidly, but he is ignoring the fact that we have now the WORST
economy ever, a stock market thats now back to mid 70's level, more unemployment due to layoffs and bankruptcies,
businesses shutting down right and left, and "the coalition' that once went along with King George I and desert storm,is now saying "IIIIIIIIII DONT THINK SO" and only Brittan is with us..
We are NOT winning the war on terrorism, and for King George II to continue HIS sabre rattling is not cool, or kosher!
even the U.N wants King George II to hold off, BUT will he listen????
The axis of evil...dont King George II realize that you get rid of the cancer, but the disease remains, you still have Lybia and then more...
If King George II does disobey the U.N and go it alone , two things ...does he remember a war we lost named Vietnam, and two,...
wouldnt he be branded a war criminal??

Think about it

Third thing on our list: Sam Donaldson jumps to MS-NBC
Well, hows THIS for bizzare , Donahue is out and Sam Donaldson is IN, which means that MSNBC now will be MUST SHOUT TV!!!
You got Chris Matthew and his HARDBALL, now SAM DONALDSON and Jesse Ventura...
How very desperate MSNBC is ! I wonder if those shows will be closed captioned??????

Fourth thing on our list:My Lady Pita Ojeda
My lady love is in Mexico this week with Ricky Luis and some of the production gang at Telemundo covering some big event there, thanks to teh folks at MVS for their help, and then she is off to Los Angeles for the first 4 days of February probably to do something for NBC like Maria Celeste did for the NBC drama "PASSIONS"
The Countdown to Florida is on hold and is now scheduled for june due to a last minute glitch
I love Pita very much and am trying to remain cool and go ever so slow, its hard to do...but im doing my best to maintain a cool head.
maybe she will swoon over what I have planned for Valentines day.

Fifth thing on my list: My Father
It was 12 years ago that my father passed away, he fought in two wars and realloy loved his family.
we may have had our arguements and disagreements, but I really respected him and I miss him very much.
I know he wouldve enjoyed meeting Pita..
I wish my dad was here,I feel sort of empty because I have no one to talk to about whats been going on..
My dad understood me and really tried to help, he did do one thing right, he taught me how to treat women right.

its very lonely here these days ..

TO PITA,MY DAD WOULDVE LOVED TO MEET YOU
By Steve Baxley
To my dearest love of my heart.
I thought I would do something different for a poem today.
I hope you enjoy.

It was 12 years ago that I lost my dad to agent orange had he lived (and in some aspects he does)
He would've loved to have met you, it is with this in mind that I bring you a little bit of what I would tell my dad
about you.

Hi Dad, I want you to meet a special woman whom I love and care about very much, her name is Pita Ojeda
and she is beautiful, intelligent, funny, everything that I have dreamed of in a woman.
she works in Miami at Telemundo as host of "De mananita" the best morning show PERIOD.
We have so much in common that we just click, theres a spark there and I just cant wait till we finally meet so I can ask her out on a date to see if that spark is still glowing, I also want to meet her precious jewel, her daughter Eleni who is the splitting image of Pita, that she creates her own special glow of love for all the world has to offer, she is the princess of the world while Pita is the queen.

When you and mom met, it was probably love at first site,I dont know..but I do know that I Pita is always in my mind, my heart, my soul. I cherish this woman in my heart, she makes me laugh, she makes me dream, she is that angel you and mom wished for long ago.
Dad, I really am in love with an angel, and I care alot about her! she is someone special who has taken my heart and made it a part of hers and visa versa.

And my dad would look at you and smile and say the following

You are one beautiful angel, and someone very special who has captured my son's heart and made his spirit soar through the heavens, you have a smile that brings happiness and warmth to the world.

and then he would give you a hug, as would my mother.

You are special, and I do love and care about you, and tho we are miles away, every night when I look at the heavens and see the stars, you are always on my mind when I send my love to the heavens and to you, An devery day when i see you or E-mail you , you always make me feel warm and loved..

In some ways, you REALLY are an angel!

MY SPECIAL POEM TO PITA
by Steve Baxley

The rose that blooms with beauty,
The diamond that sparkles in the night,
The sun that shimmers as it reflects off your long blonde hair as it flows with the wind,
Your eyes so deep that I want to dive in and swim in the spirit that glows from you
Your lips so soft and as sweet as the nectar of a rose Oh how I wish to take a sip of such
sweetness
A figure that was indeed sculpted by the gods most brightest artists
and shaped by the combination of a thunderbolt and the stars, and a voice
that is heavenly and so lyrical..
A mind so vast and wonderful, with thoughts and brillance that is both magical and mystical.
You are the gleem in gods eye, the glow in heavens heart, and the starlight glow in your parents
eyes.
And you are the spark that sends my heart soaring right into yours and dancing into the galaxy of love
You are the angel of joy and happiness that glides through the galaxy and explodes in a shower
of wonder and beauty that makes me smile and creates dreams to warm my heart.
And this beauty, this heavenly angel has entered my heart and taken it to beyond the heavens and galaxies and into a dimention
that I always acknowledge each night as I blow a kiss to the heavens and wait for the wind to safely carry my heart message to her
as a warm gentle kiss on the cheek like a gentle breeze off a miami Beach night.
And this beautiful diamond always sparkles in my heart and thank god for creating an angel whose smile brightens my life
and makes me have the most wonderful of dreams.

WHAT A WEEKEND
By Steve Baxley
Well, I had a blast of a weekend with the auto show on friday, then the golden globes on Telemundo AND NBC as well
some thoughts from the weekend

The Auto Show:
Parking, or the lack of was the prime focus of my rant, too few parking areas for too many auto show go'ers
All in all it was a great Auto Show, did get some free stuff, but not enough to mention, the cars were awesome, they say that they will build an extra part to COBO, we shall wait and see.
Of course the weather was freaking cold, 12 degrees ansd a wind chill of about -6...SCREAM!!!

Meanwhile Sunday I was watching the golden globes on not only NBC,but also TELEMUNDO as well, to hear the show en espanol was a trip!

Meanwhile we may have some news of a new radio home, but stay tuned for that
