Now your probably asking, "Steve,how could [adult swim] have done a tribute to Carson,ITS A CARTOON SHOW FER CRYIN'OUT LOUD!!!",simple .. its on at 11pm et, and they gave a butt whippin to Leno!!.. I quote:

"The closest to THE TONIGHT SHOW, is a little show called "LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETERMAN"

And Letterman let it be known that some jokes in the monolouges were INDEED written by CARSON himself!
TAKE THAT LENO!!!,plus he had PETER LASALLEY on, Johnnys former Producer!

Now Leno had his moments, but his sappiness overshadowed it all.
